erin howlebottle it up!
When I was in college at LSU, my advertising professor gave us an assignment to write about how we “live large.”  She refused to give any details about what “living large” should mean, so it was up to us to interpret it for ourselves.  What I wrote ended up being a little reflection of my soul – about how I love drinking in life and bottling up beautiful moments (capturing them forever in my memory).

From that point on, “bottle it up” became a phrase my friends and I would use to describe days or moments.  And now, so many years later, my love for bottling things up has led me to professional photography.  It is the ultimate way to capture the things we love so that we can cherish them forever.  Unlike video, portraits don’t need a play button in order to enjoy.  They simply are.

my style
My photographic style is casual and laid-back.  I want to capture you, your family and loved ones being yourselves – playing, laughing, looking, dreaming.  Of course, a little posing comes in handy every now and then, but overall, I want you to feel comfortable and for the portraits to reflect who you are when you’re just being you.
erin howle photographydetails and such
I’m a passionate person, and try to follow my heart as much as I can.  I believe in faith and trust that whatever is supposed to be will be.  I see the good in others and give people the benefit of the doubt and expect (hope) that others will do the same for me.  I’m a wife and a mother (so I understand when 2-year-olds are having a “moment”) and quality family time is super important to me (see bottle it up moments above).  I believe people should do things that make them come alive and that display their strengths and talents.  It’s because of this that I find myself in the realization of a dream, doing something I love.

let's bottle up some moments together - it'll be lots of fun!
